AutoCAD Hatch Problem
If Your hatch is broken into segments. Below is the example of the Gravels pattern. The more your hatch objects are from 0,0 the more serious it gets.

The Solution Is:
- Type “SNAPBASE”
- Pick the point near your proposedhatch area.
- If your hatch pattern are exists all you’ve got to try and do is type “HE” for “HatchEdit” and then press OK. Double click the hatch object conjointly opens the Edit Hatch dialogs. OR…
- Create the new hatch object.
IMPORTANT STEP!!! Reset snapbase back to defaults
- Type “SNAPBASE”
- Type “0,0″ (Return to Default)
Updated for AutoCAD 2008 on 12/16/08:
The above workaround does not always works.
So here’s step 2:
- create a polyline for hatch boundary.
- Wblock, copy into a new blank drawing around 0,0,0.
- Hatch as usual.
- Wblock, copy into your original drawing around 0,0,0. bear in mind to include the boundary in yourselection. you will need it to move your hatching into positions.
- Finally move it into place…
