This action is a small business set aside. Computer Assisted Drafting (CAD) services at U.S. Coast Guard Civil Engineering Unit (CEU) Oakland, Oakland, CA. The successful offeror will provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment necessary for the performance of CAD services at CEU Oakland. The period of performance is planned for 01 December 2008 through 30 November 2009, with four (4) one-year option periods from 01 December2009 through 30 November 2013. The solicitation will be issued on or about 20 October 2008, with a planned closing date of 07 November 2008. The CAD services will be acquired under the authority of FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items which authorizes the use of simplified acquisition procedures under FAR Subpart 12 in certain acquisitions that exceed the normal simplified acquisition threhold. A site visit is planned. More definite information concerning the site visit (date/time/points of contact) will be included in the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued via the electronic Posting system at www.fbo.gov under DHS, United States Coast Guard, Commanding Officer USCG Civil Engineering Unit Oakland, Oakland, CA. Telephone, written, and E-mail requests for the solicitation package will not be accepted. The NAICS code is 541340 with a size standard of $6.5 million.
